Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of MegaMuseum Digital Heritage Portal, an independent educational and research platform operated by Bisogno Posa Bisogno. The Terms are designed for clarity: what you may do with content, what is prohibited, how intellectual property is protected, and how to request corrections.

1) Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you should not use the site. MegaMuseum Digital Heritage Portal provides educational and research-oriented digital content for cultural enrichment. The platform is not a service provider for in-person experiences.

Mandatory disclaimer: MegaMuseum is an independent educational and research platform. We do not sell tickets or provide physical tour services. All content is for digital cultural enrichment.

2) Definitions

3) Educational purpose and limits

The Platform publishes long-form analytical writing, methodology notes, and curated learning materials. While care is taken to promote accuracy and clarity, cultural heritage topics can involve uncertainty, contested scholarship, and context limitations. The Platform therefore uses verification language and may label statements as observation, inference, or interpretation. Users should treat the Platform as an educational resource and consult primary references when needed for specialized purposes.

4) Intellectual property and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, the Platform Content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may read, download, and share links to pages for personal study, classroom use, or research discussion, provided you do not remove attribution, misrepresent the source, or use the Content in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement.

You may quote reasonable excerpts for criticism, review, or academic discussion where permitted by law, with proper attribution to “MegaMuseum Digital Heritage Portal” and a link to the relevant page. If you want to reproduce substantial portions of text, templates, or design assets, you must request written permission via the Contact page.

5) Prohibited conduct

6) Third-party resources and links

The Platform may reference or link to third-party resources for educational context. Such links do not imply endorsement. Third-party sites and services have their own terms and privacy practices; users should review them independently.

7) Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is” for educational and research use. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability in a manner prohibited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, limitations apply to the maximum extent lawful.

8) Corrections and content integrity

The Platform values accuracy. If you believe a page contains an error, missing context, or unclear phrasing, you may request review via the Contact page. Requests should include the URL, a concise description of the issue, and (if available) a supporting reference.

9) Privacy and cookies

Privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Cookie consent is managed through an on-site banner and preference storage on your device. For full details, see Privacy Policy.

10) Governing law and contact

These Terms are provided by the Operator identified above. For legal or content-related inquiries, use the Contact page. The Operator’s headquarters address is: Via Don Bosco, 12, 06033 Cannara, Italy.
